MORE CONCERTS N STUFF N STUFF

I have to talk about concerts again cause they are just so much fun n stuff.
 I don't care how old I get, I still have too much fun at concerts. 


I don't go to quite as many as I used to though n stuff.
 I think the last concert I went to was the summer sanitarium show with Metallica in San Francisco. 


Limp Bizkit was also there n stuff. That was a good ass show. 










I need a good concert fix pretty soon.

KISS are on tour n stuff......maybe!!!

4TH OF JULY N STUFF N STUFF

AS A KID, THE 4TH OF JULY WAS A MAGICAL TIME N STUFF. I WAS NEVER ONE TO LIKE THE PARADE, BUT THE FIREWORKS, WELL THATS WHAT IT WAS ALL ABOUT N STUFF. 

MOM AND DAD WOULD LET US EACH DO OUR OWN SPARKLERS, AND THAT ITSELF WAS JUST TOO MUCH FUN N STUFF. THEN DAD WOULD LITE UP THE PICOLO PETES AND THE SNAKES N STUFF. THEN WE WOULD PACK UP THE SLEEPING BAGS AND DRIVE DOWN TO THE WATERFRONT AND WATCH THE BIG FIREWORKS SHOW N STUFF. THEY WERE BEAUTIFUL!!!

 BUT MY FAVORITE 4TH OF JULY OF ALL WAS IN 1983 N STUFF. MY SON MICHAEL WAS BORN ON THE 4TH OF JULY THAT YEAR N STUFF!!! AND LET ME TELL YOU, HE IS DEFINITELY A FIRECRACKER!!! BUT IT BROUGHT A WHOLE NEW DIMENSION TO THE 4TH OF JULY FOR ME AND NOW THEY ARE BETTER THEN EVER N STUFF!!!! HAPPY 4TH OF JULY N STUFF.......

MTV N STUFF N STUFF

Do you remember when MTV first came out???? I do and that is just so crazy n stuff.....


 I mean my kids and your kids all act like MTV is just another tv station thats always been around. But to those of us that remember it's start it was so awesome!!! 

I mean to watch music on tv was just the coolest n stuff. It was like the radio on tv and you could actually see who all those voices looked liked n stuff. Remember Martha Quinn? and Julie Brown? n stuff......

The songs that stand out most to me from back then are "Come on Eileen", "The Safety Dance", and "99 Luftballons" n stuff.....

LIFE ON MARS N STUFF N STUFF

Have you seen that show "life on mars"??? It was pretty cool n stuff. It starts off in the present time and a guy gets hit by a car and he awakens in the 70's n stuff. It's so cool cause you can watch how much the world and everything has changed so so so much. So many little things that you don't even think about until you watch a show like this one and then you're just like WOW n stuff. 

If you've never seen it and you like the 70's then I definitely recommend watching it. My favorite seen of all i think is when his free-spirited neighbor comes over to his place and gets him to dance with her n stuff. It so much reminds me of myself. And he is just so damn cute n stuff. From the music to the clothes to the tv ads and more - its kinda fun n stuff.

THE THREE DOG NIGHT N STUFF N STUFF

Three Dog Night was like one of my favorites of all time n stuff!!! What was your favorite 3 DOG song???  Mine was "Shambala"...  My boyfriend said he liked "jeremiah was a bullfrog - joy to the world" the best. They had hella good songs that bring back all kinds of summertime memories n stuff.


Like "mama told me not to come" and "one" n stuff. I was watchin their video of "shambala" on you tube and was crackin' up at the clothes!!! But they were doin' it at the time, that was the fashion.

Almost forgot "black & white" and "never been to spain" n stuff. i love the internet for letting your memories come to life again!!!!!! cuz, the show must go on...........n stuff.

"THE RUN" n stuff n stuff.........

"THE RUN" (aka springs rd) was "the cruise" in my home town.  It was soooooo much fun. Everybody would hangout in every parking lot, school, fast food place, gas station, I mean everywhere n stuff. There were spots that were for the nerds & spots for the stoners & spots for the jocks & spots for the headbangers & spots for the every stuff n stuff.  
If you had a car, you would just drive up and down "the run" all nite, n stop at different spots & chop it up, or smoke, or makeout, or dance, or drink, or all of the above plus some, n stuff. 
On Friday & Saturday nites we would get all dressed up for "the run" n stuff.  Some of my fondest memories were spent there. We'd drive our cars a little crazy n stuff, but all-in-all it was really just kids having good fun. 


But of course, all good things must end, and the local police decided to shut down "the run" after years n years. Now what do the kids do?? 

I wish so much that my kids could have known "the run"   ...........BRING BACK THE CRUISE n stuff!!!!

NO SWEAT N STUFF N STUFF

I SPENT MY YOUNGER TEENAGE YEARS IN THE SEVENTIES AND TRANSITIONED TO THE EIGHTIES FOR MY OLDER TEENAGE YEARS N STUFF. BUT MY FONDEST MEMORIES ARE THE SEVENTIES N STUFF. IT'S FUNNY, BUT THE 80'S SEEMED JUST SO INSIGNIFICANT N STUFF. LIKE WHAT REALLY HAPPENED IN THE 80'S???? ANYWAY THATS WHY MOST OF MY POSTS ARE ABOUT THE 70'S N STUFF... NOW THOSE WERE THE DAYS!!!! I REMEMBER TELLING MY DAD "NO SWEAT" WHEN HE ASKED ME TO CLEAN UP MY ROOM....HE HATED THAT PHRASE AND I WASN'T ALLOWED TO SAY "NO SWEAT" AGAIN!!

OUTSIDE N STUFF N STUFF

WHEN I WAS A KID WE WOULD PLAY OUTSIDE UNTIL MOM WAS TELLIN US "TIME TO COME IN NOW KIDS" N STUFF. AND WE WOULD STILL ASK IF WE COULD STAY OUT JUST 10 MORE MINUTES PLEASE.... NOWADAYS THESE KIDS ARE EITHER ON THE COMPUTER OR VIDEO GAMES OR TV N STUFF. WE USED TO PLAY SOME OF THE SILLIEST GAMES OUTSIDE AND OUR BACKYARD WAS FILLED WITH ALL KINDS OF ORDINARY THINGS THAT WE WOULD TURN INTO EXTRAORDINARY THINGS LIKE FORTS N STUFF. WE USED TO PLAY IN THE MUD TILL MOM WOULD HOSE US DOWN BEFORE WE COULD COME BACK INSIDE.

I THINK IT'S AMAZING HOW SMART KIDS ARE NOW N STUFF. MY GRANDDAUGHTERS READ N WRITE STUFF THAT I WASN'T DOING UNTIL I WAS YEARS OLDER THAN THEM. BLOWS ME AWAY N STUFF. BUT I STILL LIKE TO PLAY IN THE BACKYARD. REMEMBER, I'M IN DENIAL ABOUT THIS GETTING OLD THING N STUFF, SO NOW I TAKE THEM OUT BACK AND WE ALL GO PLAY IN THE MUD N HULA HOOP N STUFF.... THEY LOVE IT AS MUCH AS I DO!!!

SEAGULLS N STUFF N STUFF

Anybody remember "Jonathan Livingston Seagull"? Back when I first read it, it was like the best book I ever read n stuff. It was so spiritual and the message was all about freedom and love n stuff. So I was at the thrift store the other day and my boyfriend says "didn't you say you like this book?". And sure enough, there it was. I was so excited to see it that I had to buy it and read it right away n stuff.

So, I just got done reading it and I'm so disappointed with my disappointment n stuff. I just didn't feel it the same way I had the first time I read it. I still see the message, but I don't think I would have if I hadn't read it long ago in a more "peace and love" kinda time. It's sad to me that the world seemed to love each other and was more open to peace n stuff back then. I wish that there were more "seagulls" in the here and now n stuff........

TOYS N STUFF N STUFF

I was thinking about some of the crazy toys we used to play with when we were kids n stuff. Of course we had the "Easy Bake Oven" that you could actually cook a little cake in it and all it used was a light 

bulb. Those cakes never did cook all the way. And we had a "Lite Brite" and a "Spirograph" and a "Twister" game.


My brother had hot wheels and we used to use the orange tracks to smack each other with n stuff. Then there was that crazy dude that you would screw onto the end of the hose and it would start swirlin' around all over the place and hit you in the head or the stomach n stuff. I think it was called "Mr. Squiggley" or somethin like that. That was a crazy thing. Did you have a "Slinky" n stuff? 

SUMMERTIME N STUFF N STUFF

I love to remember summertime as a kid. We used to eat pomegranates and our faces and hands would be all red. And there were always lots of dragonflys. I don't see dragonflys hardly ever anymore. They were so cool. And we used to set up the sprinkler in the front yard and run through it. You know the kind of sprinkler that goes back and forth n stuff. 
And we used to get a wagon and go around the neighborhood and collect bottles and then go to 7-11 and turn the bottles in for candy, candy, candy. My mom would always help us with our "shows" n stuff. We had a swingset in the backyard that we would perform our gymnastics and she would lay on the ground and be like our vault and we would run and she would catch us and we'd vault off of her. We'd charge admission for all the neighborhood kids to come in the backyard and we'd perform then go get more candy, candy, candy. 

We always seemed to come up with silly ways to get our candy money n stuff. We used to sell lemonade in our driveway for a nickel a cup. It was such a magical time. I get goosebumps remembering those times n stuff. What I wouldn't give to go back there.........what do you remember n stuff???

MY TAMBOURINE N STUFF N STUFF

MUSIC IS SO AWESOME N STUFF.  I USED TO DO CONCERTS LIKE EVERY WEEKEND, OR A CLUB WITH A BAND PLAYIN, OR EVEN MY BROTHER AND HIS FRIENDS JAMMIN IN THE BARN, ITS ALL LIVE MUSIC THAT MAKES YOU JUST WANNA JOIN IN.....BUT I WAS NOT GIFTED WITH A GOOD VOICE, OR GUITAR/PIANO FINGERS, OR ABILITY TO PLAY AN ELECTRIC INSTRUMENT FOR THAT MATTER. BUT I CAN PLAY THE MEANEST TAMBOURINE!!!!!


MY BROTHER GOT ME A TAMBOURINE AND LET ME JAM WITH HIS BANDS N STUFF IN THE BARN & AT A COUPLE OF KEGS ON STAGE N STUFF, AND THEN - JUST FORGET ABOUT IT......I WAS A FOOL WITH THAT THING!!! TO THE POINT THAT PEOPLE STARTED HIDING IT FROM ME N STUFF. BUT WHAT A GOOD FEELING, STANDING ON THE STAGE, N MAKIN MUSIC, AND EVERYBODY FEELIN THE SAME SONG, AT THE SAME TIME, WITH THE SAME 
GROOVES N STUFF. WELL, I CURRENTLY HAVE TWO TAMBOURINES THAT I DON'T USE NEARLY ENOUGH, BUT I DO STILL BREAK EM OUT ON OCCASIONS.

HULA HOOPS N STUFF N STUFF

OK, SO WHO DIDN'T HULA HOOP WHEN THEY WERE A KID N STUFF??? WHEN I WAS YOUNGER WE HULA HOOPED STRICTLY FOR FUN N STUFF. BUT I NEVER STOPPED HAVING FUN WITH THAT THING....THAT WAS ONE OF THOSE THINGS I WAS ACTUALLY GOOD AT. YEP, I COULD HULA HOOP LONGER THAN ANY OF MY FRIENDS. WHAT AN ACCOMPLISHMENT N STUFF. I EVEN GOT A 2ND PLACE RIBBON AT ONE OF MY COMPANY PICNICS FOR THE HULA HOOP CONTEST (I LET ONE OF THE BOSSES DAUGHTERS WIN). BUT COME TO FIND OUT, IT'S EXCELLENT EXERCISE AND IT'S GOOD FOR THE STOMACH AND THE HIPS N STUFF.


 IT'S ACTUALLY GOOD FOR THE WHOLE BODY AND IS A GREAT CARDIO WORKOUT. SO I HAVE A COUPLE OF HULA HOOPS NOW AND HAVE HULA HOOPED FOREVER. I PUT ON THE MUSIC OUTSIDE AND GET MY GROOVE ON N STUFF. ITS FUN TO INVITE YOUR GIRLS OVER WITH THEIRS AND WE ALL JUST HULA HOOP AND HAVE A BLAST N STUFF.


ONE TIME I WAS IN THE CHECKOUT LINE AT WAL-MART WITH A NEW HULA HOOP IN MY BASKET AND A COUPLE OF GIRLS BEHIND ME SAID "OOH, SHE'S GOTTA HULA HOOP! I'M HELLA GOOD, I CAN OUT DO ANYBODY WITH ONE!". SO OF COURSE I SAID "OH YEAH" - AND THEIR WE WERE IN THE MIDDLE OF WAL-MART, SPINNING LIKE A COUPLE OF 8-YEAR-OLDS, 


TO SEE WHO COULD OUT LAST EACH OTHER N STUFF, IN THE MIDDLE OF THE CHRISTMAS CROWD. WELL ANYWAY, IT WAS FUN N STUFF AND I'LL HULA HOOP TILL I'M EIGHTY N STUFF........ 

NAILS N POLISH N STUFF N STUFF

HEY, WHAT DID YOU DO WITH YOUR NAILS WHEN YOU WERE YOUNGER N STUFF? OR MAYBE YOU STILL DO? I REMEMBER FOR THE FEET WE WOULD ALWAYS WEAR TOE RINGS N STUFF. 
WE EVEN WORE TOE SOCKS WITH DIFFERENT COLOR TOES N STUFF. BUT THE NAIL POLISH HAD TO MATCH OR TOTALLY NOT MATCH THE FINGERS TO TOES N STUFF.  

REMEMBER THE GLITTER N STUFF. WE USED CLEAR POLISH AND SPRINKLED COLORED GLITTER INTO THE POLISH. SHAKE IT UP REAL GOOD AND APPLY N STUFF.


 PRETTY COOL......N THEN PEOPLE STARTED GETTING LITTLE NAIL RINGS N STUFF. I COULD NEVER AFFORD TO GET MY NAILS DONE, BUT I COULD STILL BE COOL N STUFF. 

PUSH PIN IN NAIL

I WOULD JUST GET A PUSH PIN AND PUSH A HOLE INTO THE TOP OF MY FINGER NAIL (NOT TO CLOSE TO THE TOP THOUGH). 


THEN FIND A CHAIN OR A BROKEN NECKLACE OR EVEN A KEY CHAIN AND TAKE A LINK OFF OF IT.

OPEN THE LINK ENOUGH TO STICK IT THROUGH THE HOLE IN YOUR NAIL, CRIMP IT BACK TOGETHER, AND VOILA=YOUR OWN NAIL RING N STUFF.


 AND YOU CAN JUST IMAGINE ALL THE DIFFERENT RINGS YOU CAN CREATE FROM THAT N STUFF. KIND OF FUN N STUFF.
